What It Actually Costs to Build a Website in Monaco
A transparent breakdown of web design and development pricing in Monaco — from simple brochure sites to full e-commerce stores and custom apps.
If you've ever tried to get a straight answer on how much a website costs in Monaco, you've probably ended up with a range so wide it's essentially useless. "Anywhere from €500 to €50,000" isn't a budget — it's a shrug.
We build websites for Monaco businesses every week. Here's what things actually cost, and why.
The honest answer: it depends on three things
- What platform you're building on — Framer, Shopify, WordPress, or custom code all have different cost structures
- How much content you have — a 5-page site and a 50-page site aren't priced the same way
- Whether you need custom functionality — a contact form is not the same as a booking system
Price ranges by project type
Brochure / corporate website
Simple, 4–8 pages, no e-commerce. Built on Framer or WordPress.
€1,500 – €4,000
This covers design, development, basic SEO setup, mobile responsiveness, and one round of revisions. Most Monaco restaurants, studios, and professional services fall here.
E-commerce store
Product catalogue, checkout, payment integration (including Monaco-specific providers like Lyf Pay or Stripe Monaco).
€3,000 – €8,000
We build these on Shopify as Official Shopify Partners. The range depends on the number of products, whether you need custom theme work, and how complex the payment/shipping setup is.
Custom web application
Booking systems, loyalty platforms, member portals, dashboards.
€8,000 – €30,000+
This is where scope really matters. A simple booking form is not the same as a full reservation management system with admin panel, availability calendars, and payment processing.
Ongoing maintenance & support
Monthly retainers for updates, backups, security monitoring, and priority support.
€150 – €500/month
Most of our clients opt for this — it means they're never chasing someone down when something breaks.
What drives the price up
- Multilingual requirements — adding French, Italian, or Russian versions adds roughly 30–40% to the build time
- Custom animations — scroll-triggered effects and micro-interactions take time
- CMS complexity — if you want non-technical staff to update the site themselves, the CMS setup takes longer
- Integrations — connecting to booking systems, CRMs, or accounting software
What drives the price down
- Providing your own content — copy, photos, and brand assets ready to go saves 2–3 days of work
- Clear brief — the more decisions you've made before we start, the less back-and-forth
- Template-based approach — starting from a proven template rather than fully custom design
The Blue Fund (Fonds Bleu)
Monaco-based businesses may be eligible for the Fonds Bleu, a government grant that covers up to 50% of qualifying digital projects. We handle the eligibility assessment and paperwork as part of our onboarding process. This can effectively halve your website cost.

A note on cheap quotes
You'll occasionally see agencies — usually not based in Monaco — quoting €300–€800 for a website. These are almost always template installs with minimal customisation, no SEO groundwork, and no ongoing support. They tend to cost more in the long run when you need changes and can't reach anyone.
We're not the cheapest option. We're the option that answers your WhatsApp on a Saturday.
